About the event

Come join us for a healthy smoothies after service followed by a Qi Gong practice. The Chinese word Qi means Life Force Energy and gong means developing skill or mastery. Simply put, Qi Gong is a moving meditation. The breath is used to assist in moving the vital Qi through the body. The movements can be done standing or seated in a chair.

Qi Gong uses Qi (energy) to awaken, heal and balance our energy systems.

It does this through:

  • Relaxing the body, nervous system and mind
  • Drawing in energy from nature
  • Directing energy flow through conscious movement and intentionIt is a wonderful practice by itself or a perfect primer for a seated meditation practice.

This event is open to all and can be done from a sitting or standing position.

A love offering will be accepted. The recommended donation is $10 per person.

UNITY PRINCIPLES

God is the source and creator of all; there is no other enduring power. God is good and present everywhere.

We are spiritual beings created in God's image. The spirit of God lives within each person; therefore all people are inherently good.

We create our life experiences through our way of thinking.

Through prayer and meditation, we increase our conscious contact with God, bringing forth love, wisdom, health, prosperity, and everything good.

Knowledge of these spiritual principles is not enough; we must live them!
