Resurrection: An Inside Job!

unityofpittsburgh

How does it feel to personally say, “I AM the resurrection”...

What holds us back from owning that Truth? To resurrect something means

to revitalize or revive it. This Sunday message explores the deeper metaphysical meaning of the Easter experience.

Unity co-founder Charles Fillmore wrote:

-The resurrection is not of the future. The Christ…absolute Principle…

the God-idea man, is the true resurrecting power and life

in each of us here and now.

-The resurrection takes place in us every time we rise to Jesus’ realization

of the perpetual indwelling life that is connecting us with the Father.

As far as you can, make yourself immortal and strain every nerve to live

in accordance with the greatest thing within you. - Aristotle

UNITY PRINCIPLES

God is the source and creator of all; there is no other enduring power. God is good and present everywhere.

We are spiritual beings created in God's image. The spirit of God lives within each person; therefore all people are inherently good.

We create our life experiences through our way of thinking.

Through prayer and meditation, we increase our conscious contact with God, bringing forth love, wisdom, health, prosperity, and everything good.

Knowledge of these spiritual principles is not enough; we must live them!
